Hope I got a handle now on how to insert slideshare into this new WordPress format.

As we continue to re(populate) the training category, we will be utilizing my slideshare page to connect you to various postings of my latest power-points.  

This site also allows you to attach a .mp3 to the power-point, making a “slidecast.”  Last year, there three were made available:

> Refocusing Catholic Youth Ministry 

> The Four C’s of Catechesis

> Bishops’ Curriculum Framework

Hope to be able to do more slidecasts by carrying the .mp3 recorder into live trainings with me… we’ll see how that goes

Anyway, that’s all a long intro to the fact that slideshare recently conducted a World’s Best Presentation Contest, showing how power-point can be used to inform and/or inspire.  First place went to one about our declining water supply, third place was regarding Zimbabwe in Crisis… but here is the second place winner.
