5Apr, 2009
Pilgrimage 2009 did occur yesterday. The weather, although briefly windy, was wonderful. And, yes, “the moment,” while not being something you can program or manipulate, happened again!

As I stood outside of the St. Jude Shrine during the ValLimar concert, people on the street were drawn to the Church. Not simply the people walking by the Church… but men and women and young people came up to me and wanted to know what was happening. A woman said, Thank you for this! Times are so hard right now. We need faith.”

At the Basillica, with almost 500 young people quietly praying during Adoration was awesome. As an adlut, I hunger for that quiet time and so do our young people.
