We are six weeks out from NCYC, so, preparations and fund-raising are well underway.
KANSAS CITY, MO — Meet the NCYC 2009 Youth Reporters! Aspiring youth video-reporters from around the country will help you prepare for the National Catholic Youth Conference. Meet them, watch their introductory videos and follow their pilgrimage as they prepare for NCYC 2009. They will also be reporting from Kansas City as they capture the excitement of the event. LOUISVILLE, KY — St. Bernadette Catholic Church will have a yard sale. Proceeds from the sale will help send St. Bernadette Youth to the National Catholic Youth Conference in Kansas City in November. news item
BRANSON, MO — Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson will be holding its Festival of the Arts and Craft Expo next week, a time when the community and parishioners join together to make hundreds of handcrafted items in an effort to raise money for the church. The youth will be selling baked goods to raise funds for the Our Lady of the Lake youth trip to the National Catholic Youth Conference in November. news item
LINTHICUM, MD — The St. Philip Neri Youth Group will sponsor an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 18 in the church hall. Proceeds will help send the youth to the National Catholic Youth Conference this November in Kansas City. news item
