This week, I regained a relationship with a “virtual” friend. . . Mark Oestreicher is back to blogging and has returned as well to facebook. What a gift for me and for all of us. Marko has a prophet’s eye and voice for the field of youth ministry. It was only two days ago that I had just referenced his work in a posting that I had set over a week ago.
This morning, however, I belatedly gained insight into the back-story… Marko had been “released” from his position as President of Youth Specialties (YS) by their parent company, Zondervan. I strongly encourage you to join in prayers for Liesl, Jeannie, Max and Mark Oestricher as the family has “lots to wrestle with.” May they experience peace in this God moment.
