On November 13th, I posted the following status update on my facebook page

2009end

Well, that weekend before NCYC… that weekend two weeks in advance of Thanksgiving… that time three long weekends ago, I used the queue function of wordpress and stocked up. In our offices, December can be a quiet time. My goal in prepping blogs so much in advance was to ensure minimal effort towards blogging through NCYC, vacation, and the remainder of the year. Of course, preparation in advance did not stop some spontaneous evening blogging about a day of communication on Tuesday on Orin’s parody of Christmas Shoes on Wednesday.

Tomorrow, I leave for a brief vacation to Daytona Beach and when I come back there is both family holiday prep along with some office chores and writing to address.

toppost10Anyway, here’s the all-queued game plan for the rest of 2009:
  > Over the next two week (Monday through Friday) we will be running a series featuring the self selected “Top Posts of 2009.”  See if you remember and agree with the choices of the esteemed panel from our offices.
> The (M-F) daily second feature of Caffeine will break open “the dance” of evangelization and catechesis.  When we reach the end of that, we will wait to introduce a new line of thought until 2010.
> and we’ll feature some favorite Christmas YouTubes before we shut down the blog for the remainder of the year on December 23rd.
