Evangelization and Catechesis were never meant to be segmented into brief weekly time frames of Sunday morning, the religion class period (which often seems paired with the physical education class period or a study hall), and/or the weekly religious education classes in the evenings.
Evangelization and Catechesis were meant to be life changing.
In Tuesdays with Morrie, what started out as a commitment to visit a mentor with deteriorating health on Tuesdays became a life altering relationship with one who embraces his own life as a teaching tool.
Embraces your own life as a teaching tool. Never stop growing, changing, living, teaching, celebrating
Morrie was not afraid to enter into the actual or metaphorical dance of life- he celebrated it.
