Get up to the starting line. Here are some of the fundamentals that you will need.
Your adolescent faith formation and evangelization leadership team should include people who
can be good adult role models, who are comfortable sharing their faith with youth and who like young people. The team should include young people who have demonstrated initiative, interest, and leadership abilities; as well as a member of the parish staff, if possible. The key is to avoid the “lone ranger” trap. Evangelizing and catechizing young people must be a team effort- the work of the whole community! Someone needs to serve as the team coordinator.
