BALTIMORE, MD – - Our Youth and Young Adult Pilgrimage is just two weekends away and the offices are already begriming to become a warehouse of swag, awaiting distribution. We are watching with interest as Wilmington and Portland, OR are planning their first-ever Pilgrimages this year. This and other updates are all apart of our offices’s Compass e-newsletter.
LOS ANGELES, CA – - Building strong Catholic families is critical to forming the next generation of Catholic youth. This means nurturing a strong partnership between church and home, says Michael Theisen, who will deliver two workshops at the Religious Education Congress in Anaheim March 18-21. Key quote from The Tidings article is: “Anytime we can get young people engaged in the life of the community, it brings life to the whole community,” said Theisen. Youth also benefit from participating in retreats, pilgrimages and large group events such as Congress’ Youth Day on March 18 where participants “can experience a vibrancy and richness of the faith and see that they are not alone.”
