On the first Saturday of the month (ok, this is the second Saturday, but holidays don’t count!), we will be initiating a “CaptionThis” contest. (But, hey, we are readily acknowledging that we have lifted this from bloggers like MarkO and Oddwalk who have already engaged in such insanity.)
We have a winner! In the end, the finalists included:
>> Okay I know that Mike Patin was at the original Wednesday addresses, but I STILL say he has misinterpreted that section of Theology of the Body!
>> Demonstrating the new 2011 WYD theme: “Planted and Built up in Jesus Christ, Firm in the Faith”
>> Popple decides on youth ministry when “synchronized-standing-on-you-head” fails to gain acceptance as an Olympic sport.
>>what Matt Maher’s bouncers do to those who cross-clap to “His Grace Is Enough”.
>> There has been a lot of talk about a paradigm shift and a renewed vision on Scott’s Miller’s site but, this “new vision” seems a little extreme.
But, congratulations to Chris Weber for:
>> …and from that day on every ice-breaker had to be approved in advance by the Virtus coordinator.
Chris, your “CYM no prize” is on its way!
We’ll do this all again in February. Thanks, all for playing along!

1: …and from that day on every ice-breaker had to be approved in advance by the Virtus coordinator.
2: I get why they call it “Sardines,” but don’t you think you’re taking the rules a little too seriously?
3: The fact that Mike Patin and Scott Miller had failed to take into account the similarities between mustaches and velcro only added to the awkward.

Of course it’s teens: They’re “just holding hands,” they didn’t notice who did it, and their facial jewelry got stuck ’cause they’re both grinning like Mike Patin.
