Mark Hart recently took on some popular misperceptions in youth ministry. They include:
> High school teens don’t just want to be entertained.
> Middle school teens are capable of amazing depth.
> Diocesan Directors are not your enemy.
> Youth ministry can work on a small budget.
> Parents should never be viewed as a problem.
> Bishops are smarter than people give them credit for.
> You’re not as bad at youth ministry as you fear (and you might not be as good as you think)
Mark expands on each thought here. But, what do you think are the misperceptions that folks have about Catholic youth ministry and us as Catholic Youth Ministers? <image source>
