I hope that you have enjoyed the Quotable category that has run primarily on Fridays. This was the second most popular post on the blog, perhaps because it ran in January and built a following over the whole year. This involved quotes from 
Martin Luther King, Jr. as we commemorated his birthday.
The money quote: The contemporary church is so often a weak, ineffectual voice with an uncertain sound. … If the church of today does not recapture the sacrificial spirit of the early church, it will lose its authentic ring, forfeit the loyalty of millions, and be dismissed as an irrelevant social club with no meaning for the twentieth century.
