Our prayer this day, the Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Seriously, Lord… We just have a difficult time getting it all right, ya’know? We desire to be among Your blessed, but even in our simplest acts, ya’know, like eating, drinking, praying, ya’know, we find ourselves seeking the benefit and not offering for the many, forgetting to do things in such a way that offers to You the glory.
We acknowledge our sins, we confess our faults. In times of trouble, O Lord, we turn to, ya’know, like, You and you so fill us with the joy of salvation.
Make our souls, like, clean so that we might abide within You and among the upright of heart. Our offering to You will be to become imitators of Christ. Ya’know?? Yea, probably YOU do know!
