It’s Academy Awards time!  Over the last two Wednesdays, we have profiled two contenders The Descendants and The Artist. Of course, we have also shared our profound respect for  fellow contender Moneyball as well as non-nominee The Way.

Movie have effect on our culture, and like any good art, impact our thinking.  A few weeks back, I started writing a personal top ten list of favorite movies.  It eventually became ten separate postings and they will be running as a second feature in the days until Billy Crystal does the opening monologue on the Kodak stage. >> 10.
