Saw this Youth Leaders Academy post recently and was reminded that we have visited the topic of flipping before. It seems as if we are on the brink of a new revolution in teaching with the concept of the flipped classroom and it will most certainly have implications for us in youth ministry as well.
Kids will, soon enough in time, be learning in a different way… I’m confident that this will have considerable implications for our ministry, for our own efforts regarding adolescent catechesis, but have yet to figure it out yet… and that’s exciting. I’m convinced in the end that we will actually be less talking head in the classroom and more mentor of discipleship in life because of this.
