ADULT LEADERS

> Our Youth Contact meetings are set for September 8 and 15. Please remember that you are strongly encouraged to bring your core team adults and young adults (no high school teens, however) It is our goal to have the Youth Contact serve as the curator of the experience for their team. Towards that end, we will be releasing information in advance to begin to prepare you for this experience. Check out an outline of the core presentations of the day.

YOUTH RETREAT

St Louis CYM and the ACTS Ministry at St. Louis are co-sponsoring a youth retreat this August 2-5, called Teen ACTS (Adoration, Community, Theology, Service).  It is geared it toward our post-Confirmation young people. For more info, contact Maggie.

> Youth and Young Adult Ministry were in the news for the Catholic Review as Matt Palmer, currently Catholic Review social media coordinator, received two awards for reporting on young people: first place for Best Reporting on Young Adults for the Growing Up Millennial (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4) and third place for Best Coverage of World Youth Day. Congratulations, Matt.

PILGRIMAGE

As we lead up towards our 20th Annual Youth and Young Adult Pilgrimage on March 23, our pilgrimage cross is available for your next large gathering of the youngchurch. We have a prayer to accompany the cross to your parish or school.

Prayers for our workcampers this week, please. St. Joseph, Cockeysville and Archbishop Spalding are going international this week in Guayaquil, Ecuador and St. Marc, Haiti this week. St. Katharine Drexel, St. Ignatius, Hickory, St. Ignatius Loyola, Frederick, and Archbishop Curley are at Encounter the Gospel of Life in College Park. St. Louis is in Sussex County, DE with Habitat and St. Peter, Libertytown is in King Wood, WV.
