For many (far too many) the hometown Orioles would come into September having already clinched a losing season, This past weekend, they were in New York and took two of three games against the much dreaded Yankees. They are but 2 games behind the division leaders with a month to go.
I week from today, our football season starts for the AFC North Champion Ravens. Our quarterback and running game look impressive (I went to one of the pre=season games) and our defense should never be under-estimated else they will slap you around.
Its exciting to be a sports fan in Baltimore lately!
