So, in light of yesterday’s post which was written over two weeks ago and last week’s sporadic posting, I think (three days before posting this) we will just spend a little time going off the usual program and just reflecting.
I’ve been thinking about deconstruction lately, and this act by Nina Conti (which I thought was brilliant – even if slightly late nightish off-color and off-kilter)tipped me over the edge. Her act starts at the 29:50 mark.
Deconstruction can describe a methods of critical analysis involving discovering, recognizing, and understanding the underlying—and unspoken and implicit—assumptions, ideas, and frameworks that form the basis for thought and belief…
Which has me wondering… What would dsconstructing youth ministry look like? And how ‘bout deconstructing self while at it?

If you ever get chance to see a full set of Nina Conti you should do it. She is really great!
