D. Scott Miller is the coordinator for adolescent faith formation for the Division of Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  His responsibilities include the areas of adolescent catechesis and confirmation.

With over thirty years of youth ministry experience on the parish and diocesan levels, Scott previously served on the staff of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, Inc as director of membership services. His responsibilities there included management of all aspects of the National Conference for Catholic Youth Ministry and the New Diocesan Directors' Institute.

He maintains a daily web-blog at www.catholicYMblog.com as well as offers week podcasts interviews with youth ministry characters "Inside the Youth Ministers' Studio" at www.insideYMstudio.com.   Scott is the proud father of Nichole, 22, Clark, 21, and Meghan, 16.

D. Scott Miller is the coordinator for adolescent faith formation for the Division of Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  Scott re-joined the DYYAM staff in June 2005.  His responsibilities include the areas of adolescent catechesis and confirmation.

He maintains a daily web-blog at www.catholicYMblog.com as well as offers week podcasts interviews with youth ministry characters "Inside the Youth Ministers' Studio" at www.insideYMstudio.com.

With over thirty years of youth ministry experience on the parish and diocesan levels, Scott previously served on the staff of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, Inc as director of membership services. His responsibilities there included management of all aspects of the National Conference for Catholic Youth Ministry and the New Diocesan Directors' Institute. Other areas of responsibility included collaboration on adolescent catechesis document and collaboration with America's Promise, Catholic Relief Services, and True Love Waits.    He also served by updating NFCYM web pages, especially within the Resources section.

In his previous time (1995 to 1999) in Baltimore, he served as coordinator for adolescent sexuality for the DYYAM for the Archdiocese. His work promoted the values of a chaste lifestyle through educational and pastoral resources based on the Holy Father's Theology of the Body for over fifteen thousand adolescents and fifty-five hundred adults and as he collaborated with other denominations in implementing True Love Waits. 

In 2004, Scott was recognized by the Archdiocese of Baltimore with the Division of Youth and Young Adult Ministry's Medal of Honor. In 2005, he completed his Master of Arts in Religious Education program at Felician College.

Scott has served as a volunteer coordinator for middle school youth ministry at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Fulton, MD. Scott has his own youth ministry focus group as father to Nichole, 22, Clark, 21, and Meghan, 15.

Before moving east, Scott served for nineteen years in parish, regional, diocesan, and prevention settings, mostly within the state of Iowa.
