LoavesFishes Our prayer for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing. Bring out the bread and wine. Give thanks,

break it saying, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” Drink from the cup, remembering “the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

He chastens and hastens His will to make known. The Lord has sworn on our behalf, and he will not repent/

The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing. Ours is princely power in the day of our birth, in holy splendor; before the daystar, like the dew, the Lord has begotten us. We are called to be priests for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.

We sing praises to His Name; He forgets not His own. Blessed are we by God Most High, the creator of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who delivered our foes into our hand. Blessed be the Lord who feeds us beyond satisfaction and overwhelms with grace leftover.

Our prayer for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

trinity Lord, you have always been for us, even when there were no fountains or springs of water; it was you who set for the sea its limit. Because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through your Spirit, our hope does not disappoint. We are justified by faith and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We stand in grace and boast in hope of the glory of our Creator.

Lord, you have always been for us, even when there were no depths to our horizons, you made firm the skies above. You remain faithfully mindful of us, caring for us as if we were your delight day by day. Find pleasure in us as we play before you all the while through your creation.

Lord, before the mountains were settled into place as you fixed fast the foundations of the earth, we proclaimed how wonderful your name in all the earth! Send the Spirit to guide us to all truth. As the Father has shared with you, Lord, declare to us the truth for our lives.

pentecost Our prayer for the Feast of Pentecost:

Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord, my God, you are great indeed! Help us to be all in “one place” together, to be of the same Spirit. Send your peace upon us.

May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord be glad in his works! Enable us to proclaim in such a manner that all will understand your Good News as you intend, help our service to be of the same Lord. Help all to hear and understand the mighty acts of God.

Lord, fill us with your Spirit.  Create among us the one body into which we were baptized. While we each offer different gifts and workings, may we drink of one Spirit and always of the same God.

Send us in peace. Send us to forgive. Send us to renew the face of the earth.

theascension Our prayer for the Feast of the Ascension:

For king of all the earth is God; sing hymns of praise. Our Lord has been clothed with power from on high and taken up to heaven. He is the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way. We are overwhelmed with great joy, and praise God.

Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise. May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give us a Spirit of wisdom and revelation.

All you peoples, clap your hands, shout to God with cries of gladness. We are aware of all that Jesus did and taught. May the eyes of our hearts be enlightened, that we may know what is the hope that belongs to his call. We will be his witnesses to the ends of the earth.

prayerPosture Our prayer for this Sixth Sunday of Easter:

We shall not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. With peace we have been left, the peace of the Lord has been given to us.

God’s face shines upon us. His very Spirit has been sent in the name of the Lord. Through this Holy Advocate, we are reminded of the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. We make our home in the Word of the Lord, it is our source of illumination.

May the peoples praise you, O God; may the nations be glad and exult. O God, let all the nations praise you; may all the peoples praise you!

Our prayer for the fifth Sunday of Easter:

love-one-another The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness. Might we be commended to the grace of God for the works that we do in His name. May God be with us and may we always find ourselves dwelling in his presence.

We understand that hardships are part of this existence and we do anticipate the kingdom of God where there will be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain. The Lord is good to all,

The old order has passed away. It is the Lord who makes all things new. We aspire to be the Lord’s disciples, therefore, we must have love for one another – A love that desires to be the love that the Lord has for us. Let us be compassionate and give thanks.

dustfeet Our prayer for the Fourth Sunday of Easter.

We seek to remain faithful to the grace of God. We aspire to be a light, an instrument of salvation for all.

We are his people. Let us sing joyfully to the Lord; serve the Lord with gladness; and come before Him knowing that the Lord is God, that the Lord is good. We are the sheep of his flock, yet the one who shepherds us in the Lamb of sacrifice.

We hear his voice and we will follow. If the path leads us to where we might be rejected, we’ll move along separating ourselves from the dust of that experience. The word of the Lord must continue to spread. They are the words of eternal life and we place ourselves into the hands of God.

Our prayer for the Third Sunday of Easter:

Jesus, we love you. You have rescued us. We will cast our nets with you. We will obey God rather than men. We will feed Your lambs.

Jesus, we love you. We rejoice that we may be found worthy and aspire to speak in Your Holy Name. We give thanks to Your Holy Name. We will tend Your sheep.

Jesus, we love you. Blessing and honor, glory and might, are Yours, forever and ever. We sing our praises to You Who knows everything. You know that we love you. We will feed my sheep. We will follow you, even if you lead us to where we do not want to go. We will glorify You, be your disciples, follow You, and care for Your holy flock.

Lord, You are so good to us, Your love is everlasting. Your mercy endures forever. Our strength and our courage is in You. This very day You have made and given us and it is wonderful. We thank you.

We are now caught up in spirit of this day, Your day. Through your life and death and resurrection, we have found life anew. Although we have not seen and yet still believe, we are blessed in this day, glad and rejoicing for the signs and wonders done among Your people.

Lord and God, send us Your peace.

emptytomb600whOur Easter prayer for this day and all our days:

Alleluia. The stone has been removed from our tomb. Christ our life has appeared as we too now appear with Him in glory.

Alleluia. We are witnesses chosen by God in advance. We are called to follow in the footsteps of the Master, going about doing good, healing, preaching to the people and testify that that the Master is the One appointed by God. To him we bear witness: Believe in Him and know His mercy endures forever, your sins will be forgiven.

Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. This wonderful day is one the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad. We shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia.
